Sea Glass for Beach Theme Wedding Centerpieces and Decorations

A great way to incorporate color into your beach themed wedding is to use sea glass or beach glass. Sea glass is glass that has been worn down and given a frosty look. True sea glass, comes from bottles and other glass objects that have found their way into the sand from the ocean waves. Buying manufactured sea glass gives you a wider variety of color choices, like pink, green, purple, or blue. Manufactured sea glass is also much less expensive. You can make sea glass centerpieces with a hurricane vase, sand, shells and a pillar candle. Sea glass allows you to incorporate a few more splashes of color into your beach wedding table. It can be attached to anything from candleholders to the flower girl's basket. It can also be used in flower centerpiece arrangements. Just fill a vase two-thirds full with sea glass, add water until it is two inches below the top, and add flowers for a unique twist on the typical wedding centerpiece.
